    Hi,
I changed site domain name and a host provider. So I transferred WP and database to another host.
But when I activate this plugin I cannot enter the site because I was enabled two factor verification (and e-mail is changed). I can enter to my site only if I delete the plugin’s folder.

I tried to delete 4 tables in database which belongs to the plugin, but still when I reinstall the plugin and enable it – it starts immediately ask “old” two way verification which was set on the old site.

Please tell me when in database I can reset settings of the plugin. Or there is another file to delete, change, delete etc?

    Thank you in advance.

So you can’t even answer his simple question? Jesus man.

Let me answer it for you then since apparently these guys can’t even support their own plugin.

First, follow the instructions in this article:
    https://icontrolwp.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/3000000959

This will let you disable the plugin and login. Next, go to:

Shield Security in the sidebar > Dashboard > General Options tab > Make sure ” Delete All Plugin Settings Upon Plugin Deactivation” is checked.

Next, go to your plugins > Installed Plguins and disable Shield. This should clear all the settings.

Now just remove that file you FTPed and the plugin will work again. Re-enable it and set the settings you want.

Man that was so hard wasn’t it? Providing support for you plugin? Took me like 5 minutes. I swear if this plugin wasn’t installed on a client site I would never use it knowing you guys don’t even support it. This dude can’t even login to his own website and you won’t help. What a joke.

Actually I already did it. Thanks God that my old site is still alive!
I just disabled it in “central panel” because I have multisite. Then I exported database, replaced there all old domain names etc etc. And then imported new database with disabled Shield Security. Before it I just deleted folder of the plugin and reinstall it on the new WP.
    That it ??

    But thank you anyway.

I everytime surprised that on the www.ads-software.com somebody always mark a topic as resolved despite he/she doesn’t know – is it resolved or user still have a problem. It is kind of cool management! ??

dude… we’ve been supporting this plugin entirely free for 5+ years. We’ve built up the docs and there’s loads of support forum topics to search through.

Just have a look… we’ve been doing a fine job of support.

What changed? It’s not sustainable. So “Jesus man” all you wish and slate us, but we have to make a decision to keep this going into the future, or we’ll end up on the scrap heap with all the other “free” plugins that end up not being maintained because that actually costs money to do.

How much do we ask? $12/year. So I’m sorry you didn’t get the support you wanted, but you still have a fully working, highly effective, well documented, completely free security plugin at your disposal.

    Cheers ??
