Cannot find Intergalactic 2 Theme

Click the “Download” button next to “This theme is available for download to be used on your WordPress self-hosted installation.”

Ah, I see now I can just download and unzip that to my themes folder.

Still, the question remains, why are neither Intergalactic or Intergalactic-2 not showing up in the Theme search on self-hosted WordPress? How many people can really know where to find these?

@cogdog – Intergalactic doesn’t come up in search because the theme hasn’t been updated in over 2 years. The www.ads-software.com theme directory does not display themes in search that have not had updates in the last 2 years.

I added a sticky post here to point people to Intergalactic 2, if they find their way there: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/intergalactic-2-a-refreshed-version-of-intergalactic/ It also explains why we haven’t submitted Intergalactic 2 here; it would disrupt existing users if they were to update to it, but it’s too close to the original to submit as a new theme.

Thanks, somehow I missed that themes roll off after two years. I guess the only way to find old themes is via Google search.

I use Intergalactic parent for a child theme I designed that turns WordPress into a sort of web-based slide presenter

I’ve found it holds up well. I’m not too sure all the new features matter as it’s not used for blogging. Since 1.3.2 is not being updated, I might just roll into a single theme.
