    Hello,

I have looked everywhere, but the shortcode is not to be found. I followed the documentation. Three menus have been published. But when I look at the far right on the Menus, there is no shortcode to be found anywhere.

ALSO, I tried using the Gutenberg Block, but when I type “/menu”, it says “No blocks found.”. This is true on any new page or post.

So I cannot actually make a menu display on the website.

All plugins and WordPress are up-to-date. I’m using WordPress 5.2.3

    Please help!!!

Thank you so much for any suggestions,
    Judi

    SOLUTION!!

I’m replying to my own post because I figured out how to get the shortcode ID using the URL of the menu! If you click right in the URL for the menu, in that long string you will see post= and a number, and that number is the shortcode id for that menu. Then the shortcode is [fdm-menu id=xx] (substitute the actual id for “xx”).

I wish I could use the Gutenberg Block editor, but “/menu” does not work, it just brings up “No blocks found.”. Please reply if you can help me with that, thanks!

    Hi Judi,

You can find info about the shortcodes here: https://doc.themeofthecrop.com/plugins/food-and-drink-menu/user/advanced/shortcodes

Please do not give standard answers to serious questions. It is very frustrating and not the least bit helpful. Of course I read the documentation before submitting to this forum!

We’ve just released version 1.7.2, which corrects the issue with the blocks. Please update.
