Cannot Find String Of Code
-
Hi All,
First, thank you in advance for taking the time to try and help with this matter.
I have a client who is using Car Dealer template from Gorilla themes.
This small dealership mostly deals with much older vehicles, but on occasion have one that is less than 5 years old….but the “drop down menu” in the inventory page, has a maximum year of 2013.
In other words, they cannot list a vehicle that is newer than 2013.
Knowing this is simply a code that needs to be changed in one of the files, I didn’t think much of it. (mistake, lol)
I found the code referencing the drop down menu, and showed the end date as ‘2013’…..needless to say, I just changed it to 2018. Saved, didn’t work.
Continued on through the many many files and found 4 other places where I noticed a yearend date of 2013….and of course changed them all. No avail.
Then implemented a string finder plugin to search these files in an effort to quickly find where else this could be, and when searching 2013 nothing shows up. I have searched the word menu in this plugin, and any other combination I could find that may need to be replaced with 2018, again, to no avail.
Still, when you add “new inventory” in the website, the drop down menu for the year of vehicle only goes up to 2013.
These are the files where I found the year 2013 and simply changed it to 2018.

Once I exhausted all of my knowledge I cleared the cache, logged out, and cleared the cache and history on my pc.
Logged in, but still no change.Sorry so long, just trying to be very thorough with my issue.
Thanks to all who either try to help…..or wish they were able too. ??
