Cannot find the padding around my images *rolls eyes*

I’m using the Sunspot theme. I’ve made a child-theme, so css changes are no issue. My site is looking good and I would like to add another page. The trouble is my images for the page are picking up padding or margins and I cannot figure out from where.

I did manage to get the images to line up using a css class for each image and absolute positioning for each class, but, the content background did not stretch to accommodate because the content cannot “see” the absolute positioning as having height. *hair pulling*
If I’m lucky someone’s on . . .Please help me find the #$%^ padding.
