    Hi!

I am using Elementor and wanted to unload the file “swiper.js” and “swiper.min.js” from my main home page – but I can’t seem to find it in the “Edit page” of my dashboard.

When I check the devtools of my main page, the file “swiper.min.js” is still loading. I am alittle not sure how to go about this.

Will be great if you can offer some direction / assistance.
    Thank you so much..!

@dreamzspl I have a strong suspicion that you have enabled the following option in the Elementor settings: “Experiment: Improved performance by loading JS and Swiper assets conditionally in frontend“. There’s another post written about the same problem: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/cant-find-swiper-elementor-on-asset-cleanup/ – please check it out. If “swiper.min.js” can not be found in the HTML source, but it is loading (e.g. you noticed it in the browser’s console), then it’s loading under the experimental mode for delivering assets when they are needed.

PS: You might have a warning about preloading files (e.g. related to Swiper) in Google PageSpeed Insights. If that’s the case, you can use a “fix” plugin that would do the preloading for you: https://github.com/gabelivan/wpacu-preload-elementor-swiper-js

Wow @gabelivan you are right! It turns out that the Elementor experiments did not do much in terms of optimising..Once i turned it off, my website actually runs a little better in fact.

Thank you so much for pointing me the direction.. Very thankful…
