Cannot find the “Switch to classic editor” link in block editor menu

  • Your FAQs say I should be able to find the switch to classic editor link in the main block editor menu:

    “Cannot find the “Switch to classic editor” link
    It is in the main block editor menu,”

    When I look at the main block editor menu there’s no such link displayed.
    Has anything changed recently?

    Hi @oldclicker there are a few things you need to do first to be able to view this option:

    1. Both plugins should be active
    2. Go to Settings > Writing and make sure the option Allow users to switch editors has been enabled.

    If the page you are on is using the Classic editor, you should then be able to see the option to switch to the block editor from the page/post settings found on the right sidebar.

    If the page you are on is using the block editor then you should click on the 3-dots on the top-right corner of your page to access page settings as shown below
