Cannot find .wie file in zip file of plugin

    I am a total rookie in the development of my WP blog, so I hope I am just missing something completely obvious here…I downloaded the Widget Importer and Exporter plugin version 1.4.4 and am trying to find the .wie file generated with this plugin to import the demo widgets from the theme I purchased. Alas, I am not able to find it anywhere in the zip file, so I am unable to select a .wie file under Tools-Import Widgets. Can’t wait for your assistance with this! Thanks so much!

    Hello,

    It sounds like the theme maker has used the plugin to generate a .wie file to give to the users of their theme. Please contact the theme maker since they are the provider of the .wie file. It is not a part of this plugin itself. You would only use this plugin to import the file, once the theme maker provides it to you.
