• This plugin is really useful, I don’t imagine WP without it anymore.

But when I try to delete image.jpg, ‘Delete permanently’, it disappears, good.
Then after edit the new ‘image.jpg’ that I want to upload, a completely new pic, it detect that the image has NOT been removed and creates a new pic ‘image-1.jpg’.

The solution I adopt is connecting FTP to the server and find manually the folder, and there I can see there it still is the first and the second image (with all the different resolutions). I proceed to remove them, and then I can upload the image again to Media Library Folders plugin.

Is this normal? I’d appreciate to know if I’m doing something wrong.
    Thanks!

On my test site, in the media library I used the delete permanently to delete an image and I verified that it and its thumbnails were deleted. Then I when to the folder in Media Library Folders, the image I deleted was gone and I delete another image and verified that it was deleted. So normally, if you delete it in the standard media library page or the Media Library Folders, then the image and its thumbnails should be removed.

If you have some configuration issues with your server, then WordPress may not have permission or ownership of the file to delete it. Ask you host provider about this.
