    Hi there,

Below is an automated email I received from WordPress.

I’m curious as to why I received this email, because I un-installed the UpdraftPlus plugin. I now have 8 total plugins, and UpdraftPlus is not one of them.

    Thoughts?

    Best,
    Robert

Howdy! Some plugins have automatically updated to their latest versions on your site at <mywebsite.com>. No further action is needed on your part.

These plugins are now up to date:
    – UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore (from version 2.16.42.24 to 2.16.43.24)

    Hi,

Please try to double check if the email is coming from the same website? You can check and delete “updraftplus” folder in the “wp-content/plugins” folder if it still exists.

    Best Wishes,

    Hi Bryle,

Thank you very much for your response. That’s a good suggestion.

I’m a real newbie: can you please tell me how to delete something from the “wp-content/plugins” folder?

    Thanks again!
    Robert

    – Connect to your website using FTP client, or File Manager in cPanel.
    – Navigate to the /wp-content/ folder.
    – Inside the wp-content folder, you will see a folder called plugins.
    – If the UpdraftPlus folder has not already been deleted, you should be able to delete it here.
