Hello, I’m using OceanWP with Elementor. I cannot get my 404 page to display as desired.

I created the 404 page in Theme Panel > My Libary. I then inserted the page (General Options > 404 Error Page > Select Template, then set Blank Page On/Full Width, and and also tried Blank Page On/100% Full Width). Both these settings show the full screen page without headers, footers, title, etc. I need the header shown as well.

I then tried Blank Page Off/Full Width, and Blank Page Off/100% Full Width. Both these settings display my site header, but also show the page title below the header. I don’t want the title or anything else, I only want the header. Despite trying numerous combinations of the OceanWP Settings for this page (in Main, Shortcodes, Header, Logo, Menu, Title, Breadcrumbs, Footer), I can’t seem to disable the Page Title like I have in all my other pages.

Here’s the OceanWP page edit combo that works for all my other pages: Main (100% Full Width, margin disable), header all defaults, menu all defaults, Title > Disable.

What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help ??

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

@apprimit @oceanwp I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.

Hi this is the OP. I’m marking the issue as resolved, with a comment. Following the initial request, I set up a subdomain with access just for the author. The author tested and resolved there. When I asked if he had further need of the subdomain he said no, thus I deleted it. So,

@jdembowsk your point is well taken, this is why I created a subdomain for author testing
@apprimit @oceanwp I’m grateful for solving the problem within the subdomain.

I appreciate that but plugin authors and support cannot cross that line.

    For plugin support and authors:

There are many ways to get information you need and accessing the user’s site is not one of them. That’s going too far.

    You get the idea.

Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all users, experienced or new. Accessing their system that way is a short cut that will get you into real trouble in these forums.

How was this issue resolved please ? as I have the same issue. Tried another theme (Astra) and I don;t get the Breadcrums or page 404 title…

@andy1966uk go to Customize > General Option > 404 error page section and enable the option for blank page.
