• Please check my site: https://www.jeschneider.com and please let me know how I can keep the text along the bottom ‘callouts’ centered as they’re supposed to be and also how to keep the alignment of the entire site the same across all browser platforms and browser sizes. When I minimize in chrome, the whole site nearly disappears and only barely shows the header and toolbar. The way the site looks in FULL SCREEN Mode is how I obviously need it to look on all browsers and all browser sizes.
    Thank you So Much!

  • Wow. That’s a lot of css, and it might not be so “simple” to sort out.

The main image disappears at 480px wide, so I’m guessing there’s something happening in your style.css file beginning at line 5292 where the media query for that screen size begins.

Is this css you have created, or was this a previously existing theme?

I didn’t look too deeply into this, but your header is not shrinking down when you narrow the page — it appears to be set to a certain pixel width, which may be why you can scroll to the right when the page is collapsed (though there may be other elements that are causing that too.)

For what I see happening on your homepage — not even any dynamic text — I think there is way, way more html here than is necessary. Do you have a front-page.php template? You might look at really simplifying that before you address the css.

    Cool artwork, btw.

Thanks Bob! Ya this is a preexisting theme known as ‘Muse.’ So as of now, I pretty much have everything set at default in the stylesheet – and simply need to know a few of these html fix’s to get it rockin. Ya the header seems jacked and basically so does everything else. In safari last night on my mac – everything was fairly cool but resizing even Safari would cause the text in the 3 callouts along the bottom of the page to completely move out of alignment. Anyways – I don’t know – still trying to fix it.
    Thanks

Sorry Bob, going to have to close this because we don’t allow duplicated threads on the forum. It just gets crazy. Think about it @spirit57, what if you you now have 5 conversations at once, with different people, probably repeating the same thing, because you opened up 5 threads about the same issue?

I’ll delete your other threads so that you can return to the original. Please don’t do that in future. If the issue needs urgent support then to receive urgent support it would be more realistic to hire someone, rather than to create duplicated threads.

No prob – just seemed like such an easy fix and I wasn’t getting any answers. Yes – now reverting to having to pay someone. Thanks
