I am building a Woocommerce site to sell sports clothing using the “the7” theme.

When I add Advanced Ajax Products Filters (price, colour, size etc) to the default sidebar, they show up without any trouble on the default Woocommerce category pages (eg polos, tees etc).

However because the default category pages do not allow me to change or add other content (I am a non coder), I have constructed a page of my own, to which I have added the category “Polos” using the Woocommerce “Product Category” shortcode via Visual Composer. This enables me to add other content to the page if I want.

I have added the Ajax Product Filters I have created to the default sidebar and set the page to use this sidebar, but although the category products are showing up OK when I view the page, the Ajax filters do not.

I had the same problem when I attempted to use the filter widgets which come with my theme on a page, and was told by the theme’s support department that “Woocommerce filter widgets only work in shop and archive pages, and will not work on pages with shortcodes”.

This prompted me to search for a plugin to overcome the problem, and I was hoping I had found it in “Advanced Ajax Products Filters”.

However it appears that this plugin may not work either. Am I correct or have I missed something?

I would appreciate some advice and assistance.

    Regards

    Hi Michael,

As for now you is correct. This plugin is working on shop, category and archive pages only. The feature you want is in my wish-list but it is not the first one so as for now you need to continue searching, sorry.

    Regards,
    Dima
