Cannot Get Into My Website

    Hello, I didn’t know where to post this since I have not purchased Optinmonster. Earlier I just updated your plugin (which I haven’t used yet) but it is activated in my plugin section. I’ve tried to log into my WordPress blog several times and this message keeps coming up: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘.’, expecting ‘,’ or ‘;’ in /home2/apheg07/public_html/chicfablove.com/wp-content/plugins/optinmonster/OMAPI/Api.php on line 19 – I basically cannot get into my Blog. Please let me know what I can do? Thank you for any help you can give me. Ana Phegley

    Hey Ana,

    I am so sorry about this. This is an issue where your PHP version is less than 5.6, and a recent update was not compatible with it. I have pushed out an update to address the issue, but you will need to manually remove the old plugin and upload the new version.

    The new version is found here: https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/optinmonster.1.4.2.zip

    You can download that, unzip and then upload to your wp-content/plugins folder for your site, overriding the current optinmonster folder that exists there. Once you do that, you will be back in business!
