Cannot get local pickup to work + tax question

    Hello!

    I have just set up woocommerce, and I have enabled local pickup for costumers in norway (or oslo, a little unsure of how it works).

    but when i try to buy a product, the only option is the flat rate shipping, that i have also set up.

    i notice that the setup page says: When enabled, local pickup will appear as an option on the block based checkout. But what does that mean?? Is block based checkout something that i have to enable? I cannot find anything about it.

    Also: taxes. Are these so that taxes are calculated for the costumer when checking out? I have a handful of international costumers and usually i just ship the objects and write content and value on the package. Is the tax option for collecting import taxes in advance?
