Cannot get offline

    Hi,

    Lovely plugin but I have 2 issues.

    First I cannot seem to get the offline message working. Even when the operator is offline the welcome message seems to remain on online.

    The site seems to slowdown , is there anything we can do? It is quite considerable more then 1 sec.
