Cannot get redirect to work for a mobile device

I tried to get AMD for WP – Accelerated Mobile Pages to work. I went into the General section and turned the redirect to on. On my mobile phone I got a message something along the lines of that my server could not continue loading. In other words, the AMP site would not come up. I don’t know what to do to get it to work. Is it something I need to do on my end, or is it something I’ll have to take up with my hosting company? When I do the test in Appearance in my dashboard, it comes up. Just not on my device. I’m using an Android device.

Is there any code I need to use? I’m using the most current versions of Firefox on my computer and Android device.
