Cannot get the latest Google reviews

  • Hi,

    I installed WP Google Review Slider, setup everything and was able to retrieve 5 reviews.
    Those reviews are not the LATEST, but those which Google use to present first when listing our reviews using the MOST HELPFUL sorting on Google Reviews.
    Not sure why Google picks those as most helpful, anyway they are not from the recent period, and I would like my customers to see the latest reviews we got.
    I tried to click the “retrieve reviews” button, but as I already got 5 reviews I get the “0 Reviews inserted” message. I tried to erase the existing reviews but when I retrieved reviews again I got the same ones. I waited until I will get a new review, hoping the new one will come instead of an existing one, but it didn’t happen.
    any idea what I can do to get the latest reviews?

    Sorry, the plugin uses the Google Places API and it will only return the 5 most helpful. When Google changes the 5 most helpful then the new one will get added.
