• I can get to the login page for the dashboard, but after I enter my credentials, I get this error. I can get to the code at this line, but I’m not sure how to correct the error. Please help! I’ve been trying to get this fixed for a while now. I’m crippled until I get this fixed. ??

Fatal error: Call to undefined function ngg_manage_gallery_columns() in /home/charlott/public_html/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/admin/admin.php on line 747

  • That is an error in the NextGen Gallery plugin. Login over FTP and rename the “nextgen-gallery” folder to something like “nextgen-gallery-disabled”. That should get the site back and give you time to work out what is happening with the plugin.

I tried that – still receive the error. Tried a different browser just to make sure it wasn’t cached. Weird, right?

    Then delete the plugin altogether.

I’ve deleted the plugin all together, and I am still getting the error message now. How is that possible?

have you tried uploading a clean functions.php file via ftp?

    How is that possible?

I don’t know, honestly. I’d grep my whole wp-content folder for “ngg_”, “ngg-“, “nextgen”, and anything else that might be related. Maybe it has written something into a file. I’d also check the wp_options table for references to the plugin.

Is there any other plugin that might be interfering? A caching plugin maybe?
