Cannot get to work to my satisfaction

I’ve used TNG for over a year and love it! Needed more capacity for story telling, so decided to use WordPress with TNG integration. WordPress was easy, but I spent 3 days trying to make this plug-in work, and finally gave up. It seems to work (barely) with very few TNG template/WP theme combinations. Followed instructions from multiple posters, with mixed results. It also seems like you can accomplish as much (more easily) without the plug-in.
