Cannot get woocommerce to work properly on item download and email

So it seems that the downloads displaying correctly below the Order Received on the Thank you page and when the download button is clicked, then it redirects to the shop page, is that correct?

If so, please let us know which method are you currently using at Dashboard > WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Downloadable Products?

Also, could you please check, if you have set up correctly the File URL and enabled the Virtual + Downloadable checkboxes on the product page? Here is a screenshot:

I have checked those and yes, they are checked off and I have uploaded files in that box as well.

Not sure why it is not working ??

That’s strange! Let’s check if there is an error on the WooCommerce Logs. So please, provide us the following:

• System Status: You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
• Error log: share a copy of the fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if available)

At first glance, I can see that WordPress and WooCommerce are not updated. This could be what is causing the issue on your site.

I’d recommend you update WP and WC up to the latest version and then test again to see if the issue persists.

I have tried everything. I even tried making a new website and tested it out on a basic theme, and it still did not work. I have tried contacting my hosting support, they cannot figure it out. I tried my theme support, they said it was not their issue either.

I am very confused and do not know what to do. I tried updating what you said and it did not fix it.

Any other suggestions?

This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
?
The best way to determine this is to:

• Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
• Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
• Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Before you start

1. First, please make sure you have a good backup in place of your full site and database. Most hosting companies have this included in the subscription, but you could also consider using a service like?Jetpack. If something goes wrong, it’s nice to know that you can restore your site.
2. Second, I would suggest installing a plugin called?Health Check & Troubleshooting. This is a plugin developed by the WordPress community and it allows you to disable plugins without affecting your current site visitors.
