Do you use a query on the loop? If so use the “paged” query var.

I don’t now how your theme produces these links but they are going to the wrong place. This url works: https://jeremybatesbooks.com/blog-2/page/2/

Try re-saving your permalink structure under Settings > Permalinks.

Or try emptying the trash in the wp-admin under Pages > All Pages and changing the Page slug from “blog-2” to “blog” in the edit Page screen.
