Cannot Import Episodes!

    I am having trouble with PowerPress import tool — I am attempting to import episodes from SoundCloud, and no matter which way I do it (whether from RSS or SoundCloud, and whether to category podcasting, custom channel, or default) it always results in 0 episodes imported. But looking at the RSS feed, it looks fine.

    I have tried disabling all plugins and running with only PowerPress plugin active, same results.

    The results are always like this:

    Category: 122
    Remove query string: false
    Importing Episodes…

    Items Found: 0

    Import Completed!

    Items Skipped: 0

    Please help!

    Are you following the steps outlined here, including the option that’s specified for SoundCloud?

    Hi thank you so much for your response. Yes I did follow these steps exactly.

    In fact I was going to attach a screencast here to illustrate the exact steps I am following — but as a last ditch effort, before doing this I rolled the site back to a previous state and oddly, now importing works again!

    I can only assume that something was corrupted somewhere which prevented this operation from executing. Very strange and a big waste of many hours today. But hey as long as it works I’m not going to complain.

    Thank you again for your willingness to help, and I’ll post a new thread with screencast if the issue pops up again.
