Cannot import folders/files with RTL languages

    Hi.

    I had issues with nextgen gallery before and waited so long for fix that the whole thing just went out of my mind. Here is the link: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/problem-on-image-title-from-filename?replies=9

    Summary of the issue:
    I have problems using nextgen in my language which is Persian (very similar to Arabic).

    I have a folder which includes some subfolders and in each subfolder there are several jpeg images. Subfolders and images are named in persian. As everything else in my upcoming website.
    Due to the fact that there are lots of files, i couldnt upload them one by one and name them separately, which is the reason i want to use nextgen.

    In the old times, nextgen wouldnt import my filenames correctly and cut part of filename.

    Yesterday, and after a long time i thought i gave it another try, with both latest stable and beta versions.
    Now, it doesnt import them at all. When i go to “Add Gallery/Images” and choose “import folder”, it doesnt import anything and throws “no images found” at me.

    Can this be solved?

    Btw, im using latest version of WAMP on my pc and wordpress 4.3.

    @euphoria360 – Unfortunately local servers are very difficult for us to offer troubleshooting recommendations for as we cannot see things first-hand which might trigger a possible solution and/or work-around to use.

    As it is, can you publish to a development server so we can see this?
