I have a bunch of Easy Modal popups. I selected “Enable Easy Modal v2 Compatibility Mode” in the settings (I’m using Easy Modal 2.0.17), then used the import feature. But I get the following warnings:

    Any insight?

Sorry you’re having troubles with this, I’m sure we can get it resolved.

I’ll have our Lead Dev @danieliser take a look as soon as he is available.

    Thanks for your patience.

@who_dat – Sorry for the delay. Can you by chance export the modals so that I can test importing them. I may need to update the importer since we have changed some things since it was added.

I don’t see any way of doing that. There is no export feature in Easy Modal (that I can see); and there hasn’t been anything imported yet into Popup Maker, so I can’t export from there.

From the WP Admin, you should find it under Tools > Export.

There should be a bunch of radio buttons where you can select what you want to export. There should be a popup selector. Selecting “popups” and clicking download should do the trick.

Let us know if that helps.

Okay, that worked. I now have an XML file of the exported modals. Next question, then, is how do I get the file to you?

Sorry, I should have specified. Visiting our support portal will allow you to attach the files. Click Submit Support Request at the bottom right of the page.

Make sure to link this topic in your request so we know the backstory.

Marking this thread resolved since we’re moving to our support portal.

    Thank you.

@waltmesser – He is trying to export modals from Easy Modal, not popups from PM. I need his modals to test with.

@who_dat – In this case email our support anyways. We will need to send you an old copy of Easy Modal Pro which has the Import/Export functionality I believe. If not I will simply have to work out the changes without your data to test with.

Daniel, I’ve already made a support request on your website.
