Cannot import from other blog

  • I am switching hosts for my blog, so I created a wordpress xml backup using wp-xmlmigrate plugin. The problem is, when I try to import posts to the other blog (running the latest wordpress), it gives me this error:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: wp_upload_dir() in /home/content/g/e/o/geoffr/html/wp-admin/admin-functions.php on line 1752

    any idea how to fix this?
