    I created a fresh install of WordPress 3.9 and installed SQLite Integration 1.6.1, then ran setup. Then the first thing I did was go to the page that is created by default, edit it in text-view editor, and replace the contents of the post with the following (single quote and two words, each separated by one space)

    ‘ between and

    With 100% reproducibility, this post is not able to be saved. WordPress says the page is updated, but it is not. It does not matter what the previous content of the page was; this magic string will not get saved. This is not the only string that results in this issue, but is the smallest failing case I can find.

    A fresh WP install with MySQL does not have this issue.

    Thank you for detailed reporting. I could reproduce it, and tried fixing it. I’ve just committed the version 1.6.2. Will you try it and let me know the result?
