Cannot insert special characters in website URL

    Hi,

    my client’s permalink for his company’s linkedin profile has a ? symbol at the end. When I copy and paste the link into Yoast’s social category, Linkedin field, the ? symbol becomes %C2%AE and the link gives an error when I try to save it.

    Without the symbol, the permalink returns a Not Found error.

    Is there any way to make special characters accepted in the social section?
