This would usually mean premission issues on the folder that contains the plugins, however, if you have the DEV Dashboard installed without an active subscription then it could mean that WP is trying to get the package from the premium repo instead of the free one.

Make sure that you don’t have the WPMU DEV Dashboard installed.

I don’t have install this WPMU DEV, I tried also again but nothing.
Actually plugin is proposed by the theme that I download and I have to install it otherwise I cannot make a specific page (contact us page).

Thank you for the information.

It is interesting, I don’t see Forminator suggested on this theme, at least on the free version.

However, can you try to install it as a regular plugin?

Open the www.ads-software.com site:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/forminator/

Download the latest forminator version, and upload to the WordPress on WordPress > Plugins Add New > Upload.

You can also try from WordPress > Add New page search for Forminator.

It is proposed by the theme to download it so I would be able to create a “contact us” form.

I tried it, I download the plugin, I tried to upload it but again I had the same error message. It is pity that I cannot send or attach a snip of the screen.

and the problem is that I am thinking to buy the theme but if I have such a problems in free version…

Sorry to hear the issue is ongoing. I’m afraid, we cannot comment about how the theme works. In general, there shouldn’t be an issue with installing the Forminator plugin nor we are able to replicate any such issues at the moment.

Maybe the initial install got corrupted and that might have caused the issue with further attempts to install.

Could you please check under /wp-content/plugins/ directory via FTP and see if there is any folder named “forminator”. If yes, please delete the folder and try a manual installation of the plugin via FTP and see whether it works fine or not.
