  • That sounds like you have a folder called jetpack in your wp-content/plugins folder.

    Pop on via FTP and remove the folder and it’s contents.

    Eek, I’m not sure what that means – I have the address of where it says it’s installed – /home3/knittiq1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/ – but can’t figure out how to remove it. If you can offer any more guidance I would greatly appreciate it!

    You would have to use a FTP program or shell program to navigate to the /home3/knittiq1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ folder and remove the jetpack folder.

    A half borked installed is probably there blocking the way.

    Since you havn’t understood my first post. You must have used a Control Panel auto installer?
    The control panel should have a File Manager type link and from there you can navigate thru your site to the above directory and remove the jetpack folder.
