• So I have domain and hosting (with WordPress support) from GoDaddy, but I cannot install it, because when I go to WordPress application there is no install button anywhere.

Also it doesn’t matter, by which menu I access to WordPress application (there is no install button).

I have tried also different web browsers with no luck.

ps. I have read every freaking tutorial, watched Youtube instructions, called support and no luck for me. Very unhappy GoDaddy customer since I have paid ~150 $ for nothing.
pps. Plus I have “played” with computers my whole life, so I’m not amateur in these things.

Did you contact GoDaddy for help?

Edit: I meant, what did they tell you when you contacted them?

What is the exact hosting plan that you have with GD? Is it one of their Managed WP plans? If so, then there is no “install button”; you simply set up your account and WP is installed automatically.

OK I too have a go Daddy…I also purchased a theme from themeforest…I cannot get it to take me to an upload theme…WP.com says use P.org…WP.or tells me to install WP on lapi….this is driving me nuts there is no download from GD…and it does not install WP.ORG it isntalls WP.com…WHICH I CANNOT USE…SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

It’s been awhile since I’ve interacted with GoDaddy’s account interface. From what I recall, however, the flow for installing WordPress should go something like this:

    1. Log in to your GoDaddy account
    2. Click on ‘Web Hosting’
    3. Under ‘Web Applications,’ click on the WordPress icon
    4. Click on the domain name that you will be using
    5. Fill in administrative settings details, etc.
    6. Optionally fill in the Website tagline
    7. Click the ‘Install’ button at the bottom, right-hand corner of the page

From there, WordPress will install within your hosting account. Once WordPress has fully installed, you can log in to your WordPress site and upload any custom themes, plugins, etc.

To Install WordPress on Your Hosting Account

    1. Log in to your GoDaddy account.
    2. Click Web Hosting.
    3. Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Manage.
    4. In the Popular Apps section, click WordPress.
    5. Click Install Now.
    6. Complete the on-screen fields, and then click OK:
    • Domain — Select the domain on your account you want to use.
    • Directory — Enter the directory after the domain name where you want to install WordPress. If you want the domain name itself to use WordPress, the directory field should only have “/” entered.
    • Enter a Username, a Password (and its confirmation), and an Email Address.

WordPress will be installed to your hosting account with the options you selected within 24 hours. When it is complete, you will receive a confirmation email.

Just a quick update, I left GoDaddy since I could not install WordPress.

    No install buttons anywhere

    Also no here

Same goes for all plugins, you cannot install anything!

ps. Plus, in my experience about 50% GoDaddy guides are outdated (links doesn’t work, errors etc.), thanks Godaddy for worst hosting and domain experiences that I’ve ever had!
