Cannot install WP onto blacknight server

  • I have been trying to install WP for a while now but am unable. I have contacted blacknight and they have assisted me. They have suggested I post my problem here. i am new to WordPress and cannot understand why the istallation guide wont work for me.
    I have been assured that PHP is running fine. Please someone help me im tearing my hair out. Error: PHP is not running – blacknight server

    Check if PHP really is running.

    Make a blank file and call it test.php. Put this code in the file:

    <?php
phpinfo();
?>

    Toss it up on your server and go to the page.

    Does it load?

    I’m running several WordPress installations on Blacknight and never had any problems with them.

    Check and see that you have selected PHP5 and unselected PHP4 as this may cause a problem.
