Cannot Load images to insert into a page

  • I am using wp 2014 theme and when i click on the add media button on a page the timer just keeps going and the library does not load! Would anybody please be able to help me as I am trying to surprise my wife with a finished website for her business and she returns tomorrow night. I am fairly novice with wp but would really like to get this problem solved.

  • I had this exact issue with a client who upgraded to 4.0.

    After some research, it turned out that the media library can act in this manner if you have a plugin that is in conflict with it. This actually seemed to be the most common cause of this issue. You can try turning any plugins you have installed off, one at a time, then try the media uploader again. This will help you determine which plugin is in conflict (if any).

    Thank you for taking the time to reply. Unfortunately this has not helped. Really don’t know what to do as I am based in Ireland and it is very hard to get any type of support.
