Cannot Load WordPress Website from Local Network

  • Hi everyone,

    As the title indicates I cannot load my website from the company network. I cannot load the back end or front end. It just times out. I can load it from my phone and from home and any other internet connection just not my company internet. This is a hindrance and go daddy has no solution, we looked at our firewall and also found no problems.

    What could this be?

  • Good Day Jeremy, It’s definitely network problem either in your company or your hosting provider. Since this is working from outside your company, then I don’t think hosting provider issue except provider has blacklist your company IP but that should not be the case. Now come back to the company network, Are you getting any error on the webpage? I am sure you have already tried basic troubleshooting, have you tried to run Wireshark and the open site then let’s see what you get on it.

    Seems like your hosting provider blacklisted your company’s IP address, since the website is loading fine on other networks & your firewalls have no info on the same. I have experienced similar issues in the past, all due to IP blacklisting by hosting provider.

    If everything checks out on the test, contact your hosting provider to remove any IP blacklists associated with your hosting account.
