cannot log in anymore

    hi,

    I am not able to log into my admin anymore.

    When I enter my email for a new password, I receive a password and a link to follow: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php

    When I follow the link and enter the new information I have access, but the access is to a wordpress.com blog, not my www.ads-software.com site at https://www.chadrimer.com

    At this point I am going in circles.
    Any suggestions?

  • wordpress.COM is another product, different than your self-hosted blog…for that login at https://www.chadrimer.com/wp-login.php

    Hi,

    Yes, I know it is completely separate/different.

    The wordpress.com is what I receive in email when I try to change my password so I can enter my www.ads-software.com site. This is what is confusing to me.

    Where I am at now is that I think it just does not recognize my email or username.

    Again the the password you get from wordpress.COM has nothing to do with your problem–ignore it for now.

    Review Resetting Your Password and consider using phpMyAdmin to reset your password to a known value.

    Michael,

    Thank you. I really appreciate your advice.
    I went ahead and used phpMyAdmin and reset my password.

    I now have access again to my www.ads-software.com site
    and will remember this for the future.

    i cannot log in or get it to reconize my email to reset my password????
