Cannot Log-In to the Dashboard

  • When I try to log-in to my dashboard I’m getting – ‘It appears you don’t have permission to access this page’. And then in faded print –  ‘403 Error. Forbidden.

    I’m thinking I’ve been hacked. I have 4 or 5 years of pages and posts on site, a lot of my life has went into it, and it seems it’s all gone!

    Is there anything I can do to recover my site? I have no information on what apps I have on the dashboard, I’m no computer clever person, just a mid 60s guy. Any help would be seriously appreciated, no idea.

      Thank-you @kausaralm for your reply. I’m using a friend’s account to reply as work has taken me away from my computer till tomorrow. I shall do as advised and contact the server tomorrow. Ultra frustrated. You have given me a bit of hope. I got your reply on my phone but I can’t respond on my account until I get home.
