Cannot Log into Dashboard, login page just refreshes and there is no shake

    My site was compromised and so was restored from a backup. However, not everything is now working, but most importantly is that I can no longer get to the admin dashboard. When I try to get to https://nogolight.com/wp-admin I am taken to the login page. When I try to log in, all that appears to happen is the login page refreshes/clears. When I deliberately use an incorrect login/password the login page does not shake and there is no message. It is like the login page is not connected to the site.

    I have tried:

      disabling the plugins. No change
      disabling the themes. No change
      Doing a manual update to the latest WP version. No change.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Ok, so this is weird. Someone posted a replay to this right after I made my initial post. Then I responded. And then I got an e-mail today that said there was a new reply. And when I logged in all I can see is my original post.

    Anyways, the “problem” was “fixed” by deleting wordpress and re-installing it, and recreating the whole thing from scratch.
