  • Hello Marco- I’ve been using the plugin for a year now and it has worked great! Until now! This is the error log after I debug.

    Hi @chrisstayton

    Let’s continue via the normal support line support[@]wpo365.com and remove this message (because it seems to contain personal data).

    By looking at the log file I can see two suspicious things:

    1. response_type \’id_token\’ is not enabled for the application => Can you make sure that – in Azure Portal > Azure Active Directory > App registrations > %your app registration% > Authentication in the section Implicit grant the option ID Token has been checked?

    2. Array ( [unique_name] => [preferred_name] => [upn] => [email] => ) Seems to indicate that the ID token does not contain the user’s email address. A quick work-around would be to navigate to WP Admin > WPO365 > … > Miscellaneous and check Use older ID token parser. This will tell the plugin to use the user’s so-called User Principal Name (= Microsoft’s user login name) and use it as email address instead. In most cases this will be OK but obviously not in all cases is this true.

    There are several reasons why this may occur:

    2.a Your ID token configuration is not correctly configured (see https://docs.wpo365.com/article/22-sso, paragraph Token configuration).
    2.b The (Microsoft Graph) email permission is missing (see https://docs.wpo365.com/article/22-sso, paragraph API permissions).
    2.c You’re synchronizing user objects using Azure AD and the email address is not included.
    2.d The user doesn’t have an email address (known in Azure, at least).

    Please let me know if this helps. Feel free to send more (debug) logs to the aforementioned support address.

    @chrisstayton I have reported this thread for containing sensitive data. I’m sure they will react and remove the thread. In the meantime you should have some inputs to work with and resolve the issue I hope!

    @wpo365 Please do not copy email addresses again in your reply ever. Do not. I edited out the emails but you and your users need to be careful. You especially as you should know better.

    These are public forums. The are copied by 3rd parties all day long to places outside of www.ads-software.com. Those email addresses are out there. The topic will not be deleted but I removed the email addresses from the original post as well as your reply. I did not remove the plugin author’s posted email address.
