cannot login

    Suddenly I cannot login. It was fine this morning, when I upgraded to WordPress 3.1 but this evening although I haven’t changed anything I keep being returned to the login page. I have asked for a new password twice, both times I get the “Check your e-mail for the confirmation link.” message, but no email comes through.

    I’m on a Mac, OS X 10.6.6., Site is https://www.blog.thundersmouththeatre.com

    try:
    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    – resetting the plugins folder by using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Thanks, tried that. No change.

    As far as I can remember, I did two things yesterday morning. Upgraded to 3.1, and changed a new subscriber to ‘admin’, and entered a new password for her. So now we have two administrators. Perhaps WordPress can’t handle this?

    I’ve asked my colleague to see if she can login, haven’t heard back from her yet. I know her password, but can’t remember her user name.
