• Resolved A Bakker

    (@a-bakker)

Each time I ask the browser (firefox) to open the login page the adress is altered, so it becomes impossible for me to login on the backend of my site.

Problems started after updating iThemessecurity and downloading a new theme from the WP-site.

I didn’t activate the theme and removed it after previewing. When I wanted to logout, the page to logout couldn’t be found.

Thanks for your help, regards, Alice

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

Thanks for your answers. Somehow the problem is resolved and I can reach my site as normal.
Maybe the bug was in Firefox, because Firefox refuses several times to login to this forum saying that it is not secure.
    Could that be possible?

    kind, Alice
