Cannot login to subsite

  • My multi site is setup working correctly however i can only login to my only sub-site periodically. Almost every attempt to login i get errors:
    Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.

    or Please enable cookies error even though cookies are most definitely enabled and NOT blocked for my main site nor sub-sites.

    What is the definitive answer to this issue?? ive seen other threads with this issue but no-one seems to offer one definitive solution to what is obviously a common glitch in WP networks

  • Have you tried any steps yourself? For example these: https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/fix-not-allowed-access-page-error-wordpress/
    If it’s not the issue, you can try clearing your cache, if you can access this page from time to time it is more likely connection error somewhere.

    Now im constantly getting the error message:

    “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

    I can login with my super-admin credentials ok but when i try to login as adminstrator for my subsite the error mssg appears on a plain blank page.

    Ive tried adding ‘define’ directives to wp_config as advised by other threads but non work. Im interested to check wehter my database has the correct data; whether altered by some plugin.

    From what i can see there are two users with level 10 access which should not be the case no? And super-admin in site_2 (my only sub-site) has no user level should this be the case??

    My main site uses ‘Lets encrypt SSL’ setup by my host and im accessing main and sub-sites using https.

    Basically what i want is only two users on the system (both me).
    My super-admin account/keyholder and a second user which will administer all subsites they have a user level of administrator which should be level 9, yes?
    Looking at the screen shot of my wp_usermeta db table somethings dont look right is this the source of the issue??
