Cannot Login – Users Don't Exist

    Hello…

    I was in a WP site a few hours ago. There was an error while I was in the site… that kicked me out.

    Now, I cannot login. It says no user by that name found. Nor can we login to the other admin accounts. Same result! It also appears that most of the content is missing (404’s all over).

    I do have a backup… but I can only restore it from within WordPress. What a quandry. ??

    Is there any way to add a WordPress user via cPanel access? Or can I re-install wp without disturbing the existing content. I am waiting to see if the hosting folks have a full / recent backup. If they do, we’re OK.

    I’m just making sure I get my bases covered. A little frantic right now.
