    Hi –

I’ve been having trouble with updating my site in WP for the past couple of days. It is not live yet, but any time I go to make changes to menus, add new pages, posts, or categories, or edit existing ones I get error messages. Most often when I click to add new pages/posts I am sent to a page that says “the link you followed has expired. try again” and nothing happens when you press try again. Or I press save when making a change to something and the icon just keeps circling but never saves.

I am a newbie so I am not sure who I should be directing help with this to. I have looked at forums on my host, wp, and theme and cannot find an exact solution to my problem. From reading what I did find on forums, I cleared my cache, updated all plugins, updated to the latest php version, etc. But nothing has worked.

I am desperate here as I need to launch very soon. Any help is greatly appreciated.

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Nineteen theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    Thanks!
I used Health check and enabled the plugins one by one and figured out that it is the WP Legal Pages Pro plugin in that is causing the issue.
