    Our employees are having difficulty making notes on tasks in Project Manager. When an employee tries to add a note, they receive and error in red at the top of the page: “required comment content.” They did not have this error before.

    We have not made any changes to permissions or settings. Have there been any changes to permissions, comment content, or settings?

    Please assist us in finding the problem and fixing it.

    Hi Steve,

    The comment content field is required to do a comment/note in a task. So, if you add a new comment without filling the comment content field then you will see an error in red at the top of the page: “Required comment content” as you can see the video clip by clicking this link https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwIqjFyTwfyMWExCYTFxdzZPbjg/view.
    If you see the error “Required comment content” after filling the comment content field then please let me know that I can help you.
