Cannot make Pages the landing page

Thank you for this plugin. This is exactly what we need for our site.Unfortunately, we were unsuccessful in making Pages our BuddyPress group landing page which would have been really nice. While we were able to move Pages into the home position, it resulted in too many redirects and the user received a “page not found” message for logged in users or a redirect to the login page for not-logged-in users, followed by a “page not found”. Interestingly it worked for admins which is, of course, not all that useful.

We are running WordPress 4.0 and BuddyPress 2.2.1 on multisite.

We also were not successful in implementing Extras. Content written into the extra fields we created did not get saved. This is not our chief concern however, since pages serves our purposes better than extra fields.

Are you planning on updating your plugin sometime soon to make it compatible with WP4+ and BP2+?
