"Cannot modify header information" after activating "A Sub Site Teaser" Widget

  • I just installed and activated “A Sub Site Teaser” widget. Afterwards, when trying to make any changes to my site in WordPress, I kept catching PHP errors, like so:

    Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /www/htdocs/w0070969/wp-content/plugins/a-sub-site-teaser-widget/a-sub-site-teaser-widget.php:1) in /www/htdocs/w0070969/wp-admin/post.php on line 235

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /www/htdocs/w0070969/wp-content/plugins/a-sub-site-teaser-widget/a-sub-site-teaser-widget.php:1) in /www/htdocs/w0070969/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1121

    Deactivating the plugin makes the errors go away, but they reappear on reactivation.

    Is this error in your backend wordpress administration or on the frontpage?

    The error froze the whole backend, meaning I couldn’t make any changes in wp-admin any more, since I would end up with the same error message after hitting “save”. The frontend was fine, as far as I recall.
    I had a deadline, of course, so I moved on to another widget. Sorry I can’t tell you more as a result.

    ok, sorry. I changed my apache settings and i also got “headers already sent” messages (not only from my plugin ?? ).

    I try to find a solution for that.
