"Cannot modify header information" – FAQ tips don't work

Hi guys,

I’m extremely sorry for posting what seems to be THE typical newbie problem. I tried fixing it using the troubleshooting guide, but it doesn’t work.

I get the “can’t modify header information” error. I’ve checked the first and last line of my wp-config.php for blank spaces, hit backspace on the beginning and DEL at the end, but it still doesn’t work.

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /www/htdocs/v114662/moringschneider/wp-config.php:1) in /www/htdocs/v114662/moringschneider/wp-login.php on line 387

Very sorry for being annoying with this. Err… any suggestions what I could do?
