Cannot place any orders

We’ve been using this plugin for a while without any problems, but recently all orders started failing with the error message “Sorry, this order requires a shipping option”, shown after payment.
We had changed no settings, but I checked every shipping and WooCommerce setting in detail just in case, but all were correct. I tested it thoroughly on local and production sites and could not successfully place an order.
Various customers reported the issue, so due to the urgency of the situation we’ve now changed to a different table rate shipping plugin and everything works perfectly again.
I’m not sure what is causing the bug in your plugin (it may have started when we upgraded to WooCommerce 8.8.2 but I can’t be certain of this), but something is definitely not right.
