  • What forum were you trying to post to? Did you try using another browser?

This post worked, but the one I was trying to post (inside “Plugins and Hacks”) won’t post. the page that appears after posting just shows a Reply link on the left and the right sidebar on the right. I’ve tried clearing cache, private browser.

I was using Chrome before. I just tried with Firefox and I get the same problem.

Other people appear to be posting to the Plugin forums without any problems. Were you posting in the sub-forum for a particular plugin?

Yes, I see others are able to post. Strange. I just tried again with no luck, same result.

I am trying to post directly within the “Plugins and Hacks” forum:

Whatever this is, it seems to be a local problem (ie specific to you or your network). I was just able to post to the main Plugins forum without any problem. Other than deleting/deactivating any browser add-ons, I can’t think of anything to suggest other than to wait 24 hours and see it it resolves by itself.

The good news is that there isn’t much point posting to the main Plugin’s forum in my opinion. Your topic is unlikely to get picked up. Ideally, you should be posting to a sub-forum that’s dedicated to the plugin you are having problems with. You can locate any plugin’s dedicated sub-forum via its page in the Plugin Repository.

If it’s a general plugin question (like “How to I upgrade a plugin manually”) then the Troubleshooting forum might be a better option for you.

Strange indeed. Thanks for the additional info. I have questions about the translation of a plugin we just released (using translate.www.ads-software.com versus including my own mo/po files in the plugin languages directory). Where would you suggest I try posting it?

Oh! I’ve seen that topic already: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/translating-a-plugin-importing-mopo-3?replies=1

I’ve flagged it up for the attention of the plugin review team.

Thanks esmi, that was the 3rd try but showed the same white page afterwards so I assumed it hadn’t worked like the other tries. Looks like it did.

    Thanks again.

    No problem ??
