Cannot post comments (https://mydomain.com/book/^https://121.44.51.142/$)

  • Hi, can someone help me out, I have no idea what this is.

    Basically comments aren’t working. When I click on the Post comment button, it redirects to something like:

    https://mydomain.com/book/^https://121.44.51.142/$

    That’s what appears in the address bar after clicking Post, and the browser gives me a page not found error.

  • without a link – everything is a guess

    try resetting permalinks
    admin – settings – permalinks

    are both url’s in
    admin -settings – general
    correct?

    Hi, yeah both URLs in admin/settings/general are correct, and I’ve reset permalinks before.

    The website in question is https://www.advurt.net.

    If you clicked on a post and tried to comment, you’ll see that error.

    Think I fixed the problem, something wrong with my .htaccess file.
